Day 3 started out with more walking (we like to walk a lot). We stopped by St. Michael's church, which has a beautiful historic cemetery. Then on to the Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon. We had a tour of the dungeon and then continued touring the rest of the building by ourselves. After visiting the building, we drove to the Angel Oak Tree, a 400-year-old live oak. It's a popular tourist site, despite being outside of the city. Folly Beach was close by, so we drove to the end and did a short walk to a view of the Morris Island lighthouse (in the ocean).

The entire walk to the lighthouse is a graffiti covered paved walkway. It was entertaining. |
|
It was really cold, but that didn't stop us from going into the ocean. |
