This was our second waterfall hike of the day. This was an easy one. This one also had a 2.5 mile unpaved road to the trailhead, but it was in good condition. There was parking for around 6 cars, and there were others there when we arrived. The hike to the falls is short. There were actually 2 waterfall hikes from this trailhead, but we only made it to Courthouse Falls. This one had a larger pool, and there were a couple of brave souls jumping from the rocks into the pool. So, there were people, but it wasn't as crowded as some falls are, and everyone was friendly. The skies got grey, and it started pouring. We headed back to our car. Again, we wish we had printed maps for this hike, as the second hike from this trailhead is a very short bushwhack, but we were unsure of where it was from just reading the book. So, we'll come back to this area again to find Cody Falls. As we were driving out along the forest service road, the rain stopped, and the sun came out.
