CMC Challenge: This hike is part of the WC100 Challenge
I joined a waterfall cleanup hike organized by the Lookout brewery in Black Mountain. About a dozen people showed up to clean up trash along the trail. This hike was crowded! Lots of people, lots of dogs. We hiked up to the falls, where many people were enjoying the swimming hole at the bottom of the falls. I soaked my feet in the cold water. We did see two water snakes and a copperhead, soaking up the sun, on rocks beside a bridge over a creek. Post hike refreshments were provided by the brewery in Black Mountain after the hike.
Beautiful pictures.
