Directions: Blue trail to summit, and blue trail back down
This is our go to hike when we don't have a lot of time. It rained almost all day, not clearing up until late. We had the mountain to ourselves. Joy! My arm was aching (I have tendonitis in my elbow right now) from cleaning the house, so I was happy to let Krummholz hike off leash the whole way, and not bother with leash training today. We had a lovely hike. We practiced recalls - I try to do 20 or so every time we hike. Mostly easy recalls when I know he'll come back. Glen also helps me with doing a restrained recall. My favorite part of the summit is the tree I always photograph. There actually is a NYC view from our mountain - and today the view was very clear. Krummholz wasn't bothered by the peepers on our hike. Yeah!
