Krummholz and I headed over to Harriman to hike up Long Mountain. It's a short hike with little effort, and rewards you with great views on the top. When I got there, I realized I had forgotten my microspikes. I did the hike without them, but at times had to walk off the side of the trail. Going up the mountain was fine, but coming down the other side there was more ice. I also forgot to bring hot tea. The summit was a nice place to take a break, and I would have enjoyed drinking tea on the top. Instead we did a little training - sits, downs, waits, and recalls. This little hike was enough to tire out Krummholz - he had a nice long nap when we got home. Then off to puppy class where we experimented with walking on different surfaces and had two play sessions - with a different puppy each time. I love watching puppies play - it's so interesting to watch how they react to each other. One puppy he played rambunctiously with, and one puppy after sniffing each other they weren't interested in playing. So fascinating!
