Parking: Chestnut Ridge Road, Mount Kisco, NY
It's been 5 weeks since my knee surgery, so I felt it was time for a short hike. Left Krummholz at home, and went to the Westmoreland Sanctuary (no dogs allowed). The parking lot had quite a few cars, but we didn't see too many people on the trails. This park has a lot of options for making hikes of varying distances. The hiking is easy, but I still went slow, as my knee doesn't feel very stable. The trails are very well marked, with maps at many intersections. There are also "home" signs to help direct people back to the parking lot.
