Trail Guide: 60 Hikes within 60 Miles, Denver and Boulder, or printed brochure at trailhead kiosk

Directions: We did a hike based on one in book

Notes:
Nice hike with views of Denver, Red Rocks, mountains, and meadows. This trail gets a lot of use both by hikers, dog walkers, and bicyclists. It is rated difficult in the book. It has a long steady climb uphill, aided by switchbacks. There is a lot of sun exposure. This is rattlesnake territory. This is the second hike we've been on in Colorado where a bicyclist has warned us about a rattlesnake on the trail. We never saw any.
