Anthony's Nose

May 2, 2013
Distance: 2.5 miles
Time: 1 hour 34 minutes
Year to date miles: 74.7

Map: East Hudson Trails Map

Parking: Route 6, south of the Bear Mountain Bridge. Room for around 6 cars. You can start the trail further south for a longer hike, or from the north (heading south).

Restrooms: none
Post hike dinner: n/a

Directions: From parking lot, head left onto the blue blazed Camp Smith trail. Follow the trail to Anthony's Nose, and return.

Notes: There is a lot of car noise in the beginning, but it lessens as you ascend. Nice views of the Hudson River.

Turn left to go north towards Anthony's Nose.

To make a longer hike, you can stat further south than we did.
Since this was an after work hike, we were limited to a shorter hike.

In the beginning of the hike, you see a lot of these signs to the right, as the trail borders Camp Smith.
We stay on the trail :)

This hike has 4 places with views, this being the first one.
