Winniweta Falls Trail to falls.
Notes:
This required wading (not rock hopping) across the wide Ellis River.
We found the falls disappointing.

| While driving to a trail head, we came across our first black bear! It's a bit small in the photo, but it is beteen the 2 sheds in this yard. We pulled over to take photos. |

| The river crossing is at the very beginning of the trail. Glen chose to cross barefoot. The bottom is very rocky, so this isn't comfortable. I crossed wearing my boots. I changed into dry socks on the other side. But my dry socks soon became sopping wet. My boots are leather and took several days to completely dry out after this. |
