Take Mt Cube Trail (same side of the street) - which is the same as the AT.
At 3.3 miles, trail splits - take left to bald summit of south peak.

This was a tough ladder for the dogs to negotiate - Moxie took the easy way up.

Turn left to south peak, which a bald peak.

We met a family on the summit. They had been feeding a mouse they saw.

Skies were sunny above us when we reached the summit. In the distance was a thunderstorm, which caught up to us very quickly. We raced down the trail in the rain & thunder - it lasted for 45 minutes, and by the time we ended the hike, the sky was blue again.
