My first full day in Guanajuato attending a Rita Sabler workshop. I'm joined by 4 other sketchers from USk Asheville (Danielle, Dory, Carol, and Allen). I also met Akalu, who I had briefly met when sketching with USk West Michigan this summer. There is beautiful architecture here, just like Queretaro. I am staying next door to the host hotel but am having breakfast at the host hotel in the morning. We were served vegetarian authentic Mexican dishes every morning! Every morning was amazing - it was one of the highlights, especially since I find so much of the food here meat based! We spent the morning getting instruction, and then we sketch together again in the afternoon. We then meet at our host hotel's terrace for a throwdown, critique, and margaritas. This night we went to a falafel restaurant with a few sketchers for dinner.
