Dian left for home this morning. Tara and Phyllis didn't sleep well, so we delayed our trip to Sintra. In the morning, we headed to the tile museum. It was interesting to see the many different way tiles are made, as well as the different styles over time, from Moorish to modern.
From there, we walked through an outdoor market before landing at the National Pantheon. This building was not crowded at all. They only let a few people in at a time. The Pantheon stores the remains of some famous Portuguese citizens. The building was impressive and peaceful. We climbed to the top to get a view.
We headed back to our hostel to have a relaxed early dinner and did laundry. Yeah!
