Parking:
- One car at the Pisgah Inn. One car at Wagon Road Gap Overlook.
Map:Directions:- Hike from the Pisgah Inn to Pigeon Gap (a little way past the US 276 Trailhead). At Pigeon Gap, make a sharp hairpin turn to the right (leaving the MST) and continue to Wagon Road Gap Overlook.
A warm day on the MST. The first half of this hike is so easy. A gentle stroll downhill. So nice. I did trip a few times though. Ugh. Then we had a turn and started climbing to the end. It was a shock to my system after the easy first half, lol. Plenty of flowers on this hike, but not as abundant as we recently saw last month on the MST.
