Carolina Mountain Club Challenges:
- 100 Waterfall Challenge, Picklesimer Rock House Falls
This waterfall is accessed via a good quality gravel road. We were happy though not to encounter any cars coming from the other direction. Parking was on the road, directly across from the trailhead. The trailhead was a little beyond where our navigation system took us, but there is a small sign at the trailhead, so you know you're at the right place.
This is an easy hike in, though the trail is eroded at the end. We saw one other group of hikers on the trail in. When we got to the waterfall, I let Krumm off leash to run around. This is a lower flow waterfall. You are able to walk behind it, and there is a cool cave formation if you continue behind the falls.
