We joined a Carolina Mountain Club hike lead by Carroll in the Green River Game Lands. This is the third time we've hiked in this park this year. We had sunny skies and my thermometer said it was 82 degrees! Everyone was hot - no one was used to the heat yet. Wildflowers are starting to come out - mostly trillium and bloodroot. We had a nice lunch spot on the river. The river level was low, and we didn't see any kayakers today.
