We joined the Carolina Mountain Club for a loop hike in the Green River Game Lands. This is the second time we've hiked in this area this month. There's another hike on the 100 Favorite Trails list here, so we'll be back soon. We had a large group, and an opportunity to meet more CMC members. It's always interesting to find out how people ended up moving to this area. I carried my microspikes, but was glad there was no need for them! This hike follows a popular white-water kayaking river during one leg. At our lunch spot, some people saw kayakers going down the river. Brrr.... After lunch, we had a few stream crossings. One was tricky, and some people did end up in the water.
