Parking: Across from Iron Horse Station, Hot Springs
After we finished our main hike for the day, we still had some time. Hot Springs was on our way home, and we had a 0.7 mile gap that we needed to hike in town. We found a parking spot in town, and left our backpacks in our car. First we headed down Main Street, crossed a bridge, and walked down to the NOC parking lot. We let Krumm wade in the river on leash (currents look strong here). Then we turned around, walked back, and continued on Main Street, passed by the Blue Ridge Hiking Company, and headed uphill to the Laughing Heart Hostel. Turned around and went back to our car. We're looking forward to warmer weather, when we can eat outdoors at one of the restaurants in Hot Springs after hiking. We passed by the Hot Springs campground, and noticed they have EV chargers. This would be nice for charging while eating.
