Parking: Yellow Creek Gap and Stecoah Gap
Directions: Start at Stecoah Gap. Cross street and hike north on the AT to Yellow Creek Gap
I took the day off today to hike with Glen. We haven't quite finished the AT south of the Smokies, so today we hiked one of the 2 sections we have left to do. We took two cars so we could do a point to point hike. The total elevation for this hike wasn't much, however, we found the elevation gain at the beginning of the hike steep. It was cool, but we were sweating a lot during the climb. Once we got over the initial climb, the rest of the hike had gentler climbs.
