Directions: Hike from Settlers Museum to Mount Rogers Headquarters (one way)
We started today's hike going in the wrong direction. After half a mile, we figured it out and turned around. We hiked by patriotic bales of hay in this section. So our hike had an extra mile to it. We only saw one backpacker. The last two days have been quiet on the trail. It's hard to keep track day to day which direction we're going. The logistics of hiking with 2 cars is complicated, but we're used to it. Our hike was nice enough except for sections with lots of loose rocks. Tricky footing slows me down, especially going downhill. Wait, our we in PA? We also had sections with overgrown flowers, but no bee stings today! Krumm is doing a good job of automatically lying down when we take a break, even if its just to leave the trail to potty.
