Parking: Blue Ridge Parkway, Folk Art Center, Milepost 382

Directions: Take the MST south from the Folk Art Center lower parking lot. Hike until the intersection with the trail to the BRP Visitor Center. Return the same way.

Yesterday we got hit by tropical storm Fred. There's a lot of flooding in the area. But today was sunny, though extremely humid, and we were eager to get out for a hike. A lot of the Blue Ridge Parkway was closed due to storm damage, but we could get to the Folk Art Center. From there we headed south on the MST, and took photos and collected GPS coordinates for tree damage.
