Glen came along today as well. I wanted to hike longer but Friday night traffic didn't help. We had a warm day, so the trails were mostly snow free. Krummholz is doing really well with his off leash hiking. I'm trying to keep distractions to a minimum at this point. Well, we got a distraction today. 4 large deer were in the woods to the right of us, and he saw them. They started bounding away. Yikes. What did Krummholz do? He sat. Which is a good thing to do. No deer chasing. I called him to me, and he came. I rewarded him with several handfuls of food. What an excellent dog.
