We went into Connecticut to try to pick up a pain medication prescription for Trek. Our vet said its a little easier to get if you pick it up in the same state it was prescribed in (our oncologist is in Connecticut). We still had problems getting the meds. It looks like I'll have to drive to the vet hospital on Monday for a new prescription. On the way home, we stopped at Ward Pound Ridge for a hike. The orange trail is just the right distance for us now. We brought both Trek and Krummholz. It was cold and windy, so I didn't bother trying to take many photos.
Krummholz really doesn't like getting his feet wet, and rolls on the ground afterwards. We passed by a few people on the trail who said hi to him. Then we passed by a woman whom I guess is uncomfortable with dogs. She didn't say hi to him. Krummholz stopped and turned around. He sat and stared at her. I'm not sure what he was thinking, but he was taking his time processing it. I brought him into a shelter. I'm hoping that one day he'll be my backpacking companion.
