We found an "on demand" bus from our campground that we could take to downtown Key West, so we wouldn't have to drive. It was a hot day, in the mid-80's. At least I don't have to worry about freezing at night while tent camping! We took the bus from our campground to Mallory Square. From there, we walked to the southeastern most point in the Continental US. We went on a tour of the Hemingway House and saw many of the 6 toed cats, descendants of his original cat. Then we stopped at the Truman Little White House but decided not to do a tour. We headed over to the Audubon House, which isn't a house he lived in. They did have some of his beautiful prints though. We then went to the Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory. The butterflies were more active than the ones we saw last year in Gainesville. They also had beautiful birds and a couple of flamingos. Then back to Boyd's Campground.
