We started off our day at Biscayne National Park. Most of this park is water, not land. It's not a park you go to, to hike. We signed up for a guided SUP trip. A 25-minute boat ride took us to Jones Lagoon, where we got onto our SUP's. All of us did the paddle sitting down. Our guide Nico was excellent, and there were just 4 of us. We saw a nurse shark, barracudas, starfish, and a horseshoe crab. The paddling was relaxed and easy. Then a 25-minute boat ride back to the visitor center.

We hung out at the visitor center and ate lunch while letting our tents dry out. Then we took a short walk at the visitor center.

Then we drove to Everglades National Park and walked on the Anhinga and Gumbo Limbo Trail, which are right next to each other. Even though I wore sunscreen, my face ended up burning - I didn't wear a hat. I decided it was too cold to camp (high was only in the 50's today), so we ended up going back to a motel in Homestead.
