Parking: Yellow Branch Road

Directions:
- There are two forks you can start from. The main parking area was full, so we parked and started from the trailhead closer to Highlands Highway. From there, we turned left onto the Yellow Branch Falls Trail. There is another intersection (which we don't remember), where we turned left again (to the right, Gaia marks it as an abandoned trail). We continued to Yellow Branch Falls. We returned the same way.
Carolina Mountain Club Challenges
- Waterfall Challenge
It was 16 degrees when we woke up. We decided to head to South Carolina (forecasted to be 2 degrees warmer than Asheville) to see some waterfalls. It turned out to be a nice day, hitting 46 degrees in the afternoon. We saw some people on the trails, but it wasn't crowded. The parking area is limited, which helps reduce the traffic on the trail. Krummholz wanted to go swimming, but I just let him wade. We liked this waterfall - it was wide with many narrow streams of water.
