Directions: Head over to a trailhead between the ice rink and Hessian Lake. Take the Appalachian Trail to the Perkins Memorial Tower. Return the same way.
I had some backpacking trips planned in the spring of 2020 that I wanted to train for. This hike has good amount of elevation gain in a short distance. We decided to work on gradually doing multiple out and backs of this short hike.
