We needed to do our fall trail maintenance trip, so we took Krummholz out with us for our trip. I kept him leashed up while I trimmed brush. He tried to be patient waiting for me. We met a couple of people who he distrusted (one guy was yelling at his two dogs). Everyone else he was fine with - and even gave two people kisses on their face. Krummholz is starting to be like Trek - he thinks that when I throw branches off the trail that I mean for him to retrieve them. What fun! It makes trail maintenance go a little slower, lol. Our trail was in great shape. We did some minor trimming, and replaced a couple of blazes with religious graffiti on them.
Cat's Elbow intersection. We always stop and sit on this rock when we're done for the day. It overlooks the NYC skyline and the Hudson River. |
He actually tried to jump up and climb this tree! |
