I have been diagnosed with hip bursitis, and have taken a lot of time off of hiking, waiting for it to heal. It hasn't gone away yet, but I got tired of resting it, so found an easier hike to get me outside today. We hiked in this area when we did trail maintenance, and knew that the trails are easy. We decided to do the Loggers Loop trail, and if my hip wasn't bothering me too much, then add on the Big Rock Trail. We brought along Moxie, knowing that the footing would be easy enough for her. She was so happy! She smiles when she hikes.

Lots of mud & wet trails today.

Turning onto the Loggers Loop Trail

Times Square Intersection.

Lots of spring flowers on the trail

A rusted tricycle on a rock - Moxie parked her head off at it.

Ironwheel junction

Sharp turn onto Big Rock Trail

Fancy boardwalk

Chilly today, but stopped for a quick swim

Glen tried to do a little trail maintenance - removing large sticks from the trail. Moxie kept bringing them back!
