This hike was recommended to us by some hikers we met on Deer Mountain. We told them about Glen getting sick due to altitude. They suggested this as a good hike for acclimating.

I found the beginning of this hike disappointing. I felt like we could have been hiking in NY. But it did get much better the further we went. And I loved the lake. It was very peaceful. The further we went, the fewer people we saw as well.
