Hike description: We found lots of raspberries, ripe for the picking on the short side trail to the AT. We still saw a handful of backpackers today. Weather was in the low 70's but muggy and buggy. We got a late start - as the original forecast for today was for rain/thunder storms - so we slept in. Decided to check the weather - and 0% chance of rain! This hike has ups and downs, but nothing too difficult. There was a LOT of glass between Route 55 and Old Route 55. Normally I would stop and pick it up - but there was tons. I worried about the dogs. The hike crosses a wide stream (with bridge), but it didn't look like a great place to swim the dogs - the water was moving very fast.
