Ward Pound Ridge Southwest Loop to Leatherman's Cave

Distance: 5.4 miles (original hike is 6.5 miles, but we got caught in a thunderstorm, so we found the quickest way out)
Time: 2 hours 13 minutes
Map: Ward Pound Ridge Pick up a map when you pay for parking. We had some older maps - from 2008 & 2010, and trails have changed since then.
Parking: See directions link. There is plenty of parking. Cost is $10 without a Westchester County Parks Pass. $5 with a Parks Pass.

Information on the Leatherman

Notes: This is a very popular park. The trails are not very difficult. On some trails, you will come across a lot of people. This trails are very clearly blazed. The map also has numbers at intersections which correspond to numbers posted on trees.

Trek on Dancing Rock - actually previously used for dancing. At this point we looked for the shortest way out of the park.
