More of a stroll rather than a hike. Thanks to my friend Tim for helping us get our complimentary tickets straightened out! We took my siblings & one of their wives to the Biltmore estate. 3 of our group toured the house, while 3 of us just walked the grounds, stopped at the conservatory and chatted. The person who designs the plant layouts at the conservatory does such an amazing job with the way they put colors and textures next to each other. We saw a few sunflowers in bloom at the estate, though they are either pre-peak or post-peak. I saw the Italian garden pools filled for the first time. Krumm wanted to swim in the pools, but he was also nervous about the big fish that swam in them. We ended our trip with a stop at the winery.
