Parking:- Halemau'u Trailhead

Map:- Take Halemau'u Trail in 1.0 miles to crater lookout. You can go further. Return the same way.
- Take Leieiwi Trail to overlook. Return the same way.
We hiked on the Halemau'u Trail. This trail was amazing! I would have loved to have gone farther, but I know my limitations. You can hike down into the crater. We did have a super view looking down into it. We are in the clouds - and the kept coming and going, but luckily, we were able to see the view.
Our next hike was to the Leieiwi Overlook. We had less luck there. All we could see were clouds.
