Seeing a pyramid has been on my bucket list. It turns out I don't have to go to Egypt, I can see one in Queretaro! I took an Uber to the site and first walked around their museum. I learned that the building on top was a modern addition. Other than a few security guards and one family that walked by, I had the place to myself. It was peaceful to be out in nature after being in a city this week. I sat for a long time and sketched and just enjoyed being surrounded by nature.
Back in the city, I stopped by Suwa, a vegan restaurant. It was so nice to have a menu where even if I didn't know what I was ordering, I knew everything was vegetarian. In the afternoon, I found a shady spot at the Templo de Santa Rosa de Viterbo to sketch.
