Today was mostly a travel day, going from Guadalupe Mountains National Park in Texas to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Santa Fe was reported to have gotten 10-15" of snow, so our plans were up in the air. We hadn't brought microspikes or snowshoes, and we just hoped road conditions were okay (the day before, some roads into the area were closed).

We decided to take a detour in Roswell, NM to visit the International UFO Museum. It was actually more interesting than expected. We also stopped to take photos of the UFO McDonalds, and various murals throughout town.

From there we drove to Santa Fe. We started seeing snow, but luckily the roads were clear. We found a hotel and then drove into downtown Santa Fe. We walked around for 1 1/2 hours until just after sunset but didn't go inside any of the galleries. It was cold, and we just enjoyed getting some walking in after spending a lot of time in the car.

Along the highway into town.

At night the "spaceship" lights up.
