• Follow Craggy Pinnacle trail from the parking lot to the summit. Return the same way.

I think this has been my first hike in 3 months. I decided to stop hiking completely to see if it improved my plantar fasciitis. It hasn't. It was so nice to go out on just a short hike. My foot was sore before the hike and even more sore after it. Although it was 80+ degrees in Asheville, it was 60 degrees at the parking lot when we arrived. We were in the clouds and it was very windy, threatening to rain. I was underdressed! We met a trail "rover" at the summit, who answered questions for people and made sure no one climbed over the walls. There were very few people out, and we had no views. Still a good time.
