We returned to the Fish Hatchery to do a hike on the 100 Favorite Trails list. We had done part of this hike earlier this week when visiting waterfalls with my sister. The Fish Hatchery has tons of parking, but the parking lot was still 80% full. Lots of people on the trails. The temperature was only 73 degrees, but the humidity was high, so I was dripping going up hills. This is a loop hike that passes by John Rock, a large rock that's a good place to stop for a snack. We watched many hawks while enjoying the view to Looking Glass Rock. I noticed several camping spots along this hike and saw a few backpackers.
