Directions: "North Carolina Waterfalls" by Kevin Adams. This is a short drive from the Looking Glass Rock Trailhead

After a hike, we decided to drive down the road to see the falls. Several cars were parked along the road. These falls can be seen from the road, and there's a paved overlook on top. You can also walk down a paved path to the bottom of the falls. We decided to stay at the top and tried to social distance. There is no hiking involved for seeing this waterfall. I kind of miss that, lol. Visiting waterfalls is very popular in western North Carolina, but I prefer to hike to them (there are many that require actual hikes).

After our visit, we stopped elsewhere to let Krummholz play in the water. It was a hot day. He actually swam a tiny bit! He loves water, but normally he just wades in it. I still have some work to do to get him more comfortable swimming, but definite progress today.
