We got a shuttle from our hotel in Geneva to Chamonix in the morning. It was pouring rain all day long. We were so glad today wasn't a hiking day! We had hoped to take a gondola up into the mountains, but skipped it because there wouldn't be a view. We saw them setting up for the UTMB race which would occur during our trip. I managed to fall off a curb - I decided it was a sign of good luck. I'd get the tripping/falling over with BEFORE our hike.
