Directions: Red trail loop
I didn't have a lot of time for a hike before sunset. I decided to take Krummholz to Turkey Mountain and just work on loose leash walking in a hiking environment. I had no plans of hiking anywhere specific. We started off on the red trail, just to avoid people. I brought a lot of treats and we worked on our loose leash walking. He did pretty well. I did a lot of treating & changing direction. I ended up continuing down the red trail - and finally just decided to do it. It's not a trail I normally do. I actually called up Glen to verify it's a loop that both starts and ends at the parking lot, because I didn't want to be caught on the trail after dark. We weren't fast, as I was trying to maintain criteria with our training.
