Saturday - which means more people on the trail. We talked to a trail maintainer. He had recently visited Bear Mountain, and we both marveled at the stone work on the trails there. We had beautiful cool weather. I fell once, even though the rocks weren't that bad. Ugh. There were a lot of blowdowns on the trail - I'm wondering if they came down during all of our noreasters. Today we were on a ridge, and hiked down into Duncannon. The trail down to Duncannon was really steep. I was super slow. I've heard that Pennsylvania becomes really rocky north of Duncannon. I guess we are at the start of the fun ;) Glen was low energy in the morning, but was feeling better after lunch. Sometimes that just happens - our energy levels change for unknown reasons.
