We parked on the road and walked .25 mile down the road to the trailhead (not signage). We didn't see any other hikers on this hike. I'm guessing it's less popular since there isn't a parking area at the trailhead and because the trailhead isn't marked. I don't believe our National Geographic map showed this trail. The trail is an old jeep road that has since gone to nature. This was an easy hike on a sandy wash. It's an out and back hike to a view. Our book mentioned that there are remains of a World War II observation post. We searched all around and couldn't find anything. I tried finding out more information online after our hike, but couldn't find any photos from anyone who found it. This hike is good for views and big rock formations.
