After stopping at Keys View, we continued to look for short things we could do. First we stopped by Cap Rock. We did a very short Nature Trail there.

Then we visited Skull Rock - another place with so many people. Luckily there is a lot of roadside parking, so we were able to grab a spot easily. People visit Skull Rock to see a large rock which resembles a skull. In addition, there are a lot of big rocks there that are great for rock scrambling. It's like a giant playground for children and adults. People were everywhere climbing around the rocks. The rocks are really sticky granite, so the rock scrambling feels pretty safe. The rocks are hard on your hands - so wearing something like bike gloves would be nice so you don't tear your hands up. We had tons of fun. I lost Glen for 1/2 hour as he kept trying new areas. Glen has vertigo, so this is awesome!

Next, we stopped by Split Rock. We found a 2 mile hike listed there, but decided we might not have time to finish it before sunset, so we headed back to our hotel.
