We ended up extending the hike described in the book (6.3 miles).
The book describes Grange Hall Road to the summit of Warner Hill.
We continued along the AT until we reached Blotz Road, then turned around.
Parking: Grange Hall Road, Dalton, MA. Space for around 4 cars on the shoulder of the road. Look for the AT sign to find it.
