Champney Falls Trail to Piper Trail to summit.
Lists: 52 with a View
Notes:
The rocks approaching the summit are very, very rough. Dog booties highly recommended!
This is a very, very popular trail, so expect lots of people on the trail & on the summit.
We mostly hiked with the dogs on leash.
However, the views are phenomenal, so its worth it!

Short detour to a view below the summit |
We took the Piper trail to the summit. There are multiple trails for approaching the summit. |
The footing becomes very rough at some point, so we put on the booties. Near the summit, there is gravel, and gravelly rock, which is very rough to touch. |

Sometimes the trail was a little hard to find near the summit. There are cairns and blazes. Following them helps to make sure you don't climb up a difficult way. |
