Directions:

• Hike 2.7 miles up towards Bluff Mountain then 2.7 miles down.

It's been getting harder and harder for me to do trail maintenance due to hip pain. I managed to hike a good ways up but wow it hurt. Glen hiked up to the summit and worked his way down, removing trees. I did lopping and did my best to clear waterbars with my foot. The fall foliage today was stunning. I love doing trail maintenance on our section. It's hard work, but it's such a peaceful way to spend the day. We've been talking about stopping being trail maintainers due to my inability to hike to the top, but it would break my heart. Off to the doctor on Wednesday to discuss pain drugs. We did see around 4 southbounders and oddly - a trail runner.
