Saturday night date night. Back to Warren Wilson College for an evening hike. This has become our go to place for a quick local hike in the summer. We used to hike on the MST a lot as our local hike, but the place we hike on the MST has a lot of bear activity in the summer (and they tend to be stubborn/angry bears). Plus, Warren Wilson has a creek for swimming! We were happy to see the blowdown from a couple of days ago was already cleared. We tried a new spot on the creek for swimming. We rolled a log to the bank for sitting on (there are lots of cut up logs from Helene). The cows were back in the pasture today.
