We knew we had 4 hours of driving today, so we charged our car to 100% in the morning. We decided to stop by the slow charger in Munising on the way, just to make sure we had enough charge for our trip. We took a walk in the downtown area while we charged. Just as we were about to leave, we saw another Tesla pull up with a bunch of young men. They struggled to use the charger. They were down to 32 miles of range, which wasn't enough for them to go anywhere. We ended up loaning them our adapter which worked for them. We hung out for 20 minutes to let them charge enough to get to a supercharger. They were so grateful.
After our stop there, we went to the visitor center, because we remembered there was a waterfall trail there that allows dogs. The trail was closed for rehab. Another trail left from there, but it didn't allow dogs. So off we went to Miner's Castle. This hike has that gorgeous view that you see so often in photographs of the park. The water is a stunning blue green and very clear beneath the cliffs. They say the best view of the cliffs is from a boat, but it's not boating season quite yet here. Luckily, we had much warmer weather today compared to yesterday.
