This is a popular place to start a hike. The parking area/street was packed with cars. If you want solitude, this might not be a good hike to try on a weekend.
It was a cool but humid rainy day, which didn't stop others from hiking. This is a moderate hike. Some level sections, and some hilly rocky sections. Mountain laurel has finished blooming, but blueberries are starting to appear and were tasty.
