- Find the stairs in the wall and just follow the trail up to the summit. Return the same way.
Mary Jo, who I visited earlier, recommended Jasper Knob. This is an easy hike, but we had trouble finding it. We drove around a residential neighborhood quite a while. Eventually after bringing up several websites, we figured out where to go. The hike itself is easy - no navigation needed, just head up. It doesn't show up on Gaia. They call the rock on the summit, the world's largest gemstone. On the summit is banded iron - made of pink quartz and silver hematite. Read more about it here.
